It Doesn't Matter

This song makes me cry...its sad. It sounds like she was in a relationship with someone who she thought loved her back and he just left her and didn't care about her pain or her feelings.

This song reminds me of Dopplegangland, a Buffy episode with evil Willow who rules! But it does have a deeper meaning which is very upsetting "It dosen't matter if I cry, it dosen't matter if I bleed"

I have a different perspective... it's not like he leaves her and doesn't care about her feelings. It's her telling him he should go (for whatever reason), that she won't be selfish by making him stay for her. It's okay if he goes, she understands...

Yes, it's a sad song, but it's beautiful... about self sacrifice, if you ask me. But hey, that's just my opinion ;)

I agree with FeyTH. Her talking about him being on a road and in a cage seems to suggest that he wants to go somewhere, and she's giving up her own feelings of love to let him go.

Buffy soundtrack. Kinda relates to Buffy's reaction to Angel leaving Sunnydale in Graduation Day.

It's about loving enough to let go, no matter how much you want to hand on.

yeah its sad but amazing. been listening to this song for an couple of months now and this song really explains what happened to me and my ex, well FeyTH and rochey1 explanation explains it tbh. For me i didn't want to leave her but she decided it was best for her to dump me... anyway AMAZING song and Alison voice is woooowwwwwww :D
