i think the lyrics are self-explanatory, seems to be rather anthemic. very raw. an awesome opening track to "The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators" anyhow.

Funny, it’s been the other way around and I am long gone. Que sera sera… boy ( or in my case old man) who cried wolf has been telling me he’s going to leave for the past year and never does…… huge turn off. And in the meantime he’s begging me and begging me, again huge turn off I have moved on. Men are very predictable they always want what they can’t have but that is also very unattractive
