It is about time that the rest of the world figured out who Lola Ray is. Rock on. Saw 'em in Detroit with Allister, and they were sweet action.

I really love lola ray... I don't really remember how I heard of them, but I was erally excited when i got their CD for my b-day!!

i haven't got their cd yet :( its hard to find it here in singapore so yeahhh.

but but! they ARE very awesome! i first listen to them when i heard they were signed to dc flag. haha yeahhh and when i first heard automatic girl, i just had to listen to their other stuff to know that it'll be just as great!

This song is awesome, i first heard about them on mtv and thought they were great. some them on tour with good charlotte and sum 41. they performed great

i so totally don't get this song, but i love it. so can someboday PLEASE stop just writing about how much you freaking love the song, and tell me what it's about. GODAMMIT.

i think....he just realized he loves her, but it's too late, she has another boyfriend, but he's saying i'll be here when you break up with him.

I thought that the girl wasn't serious about being in a relationship with him. but she always comes back to him. and he loves her and everything she does... and he doesn't feel right without her around... or something like that. i'm not for sure.

"trash my room when you're not around" could mean he gets mad cuz she's not there with him. and that kinda does tie in with the rest of the song.

He's saying he's loved her from the start "automatic love for automatic girl."

and that he'll be there as soon as she needs him "don't fear cause when you return I'll be here waiting by your side."

but then he could be realizing that she's really not that great of a person and he shouldn't love her. but he does. he can't help it. "this is the end of the world so it seems, i've got automatic love for automatic girl"

I always thought this song was about how people nowadays are just feeling what society tells them to, automatically. "automatic guns for automatic boys" says that people are violent without thinking just because they've been brainwashed to think it's right. "everything keeps the right melody i've got a couple of killing machines" is saying that everything is clockwork and when people go off to fight in wars new people will come and take their places, hot off the assembly line. All of this relates to "this is the end of the world as it seems" because with the world becoming based on action and not thoughts life loses meaning. oh and as for the "shrink wrap" thing it's saying that love has become impersonal and available like packaged foods. That's what i got from this... Tell me what you think.
