never been burned by a beautiful boy.
i always had myself a couple little toys.
none of them matter when you're laying next to me.
you know you shook me like a baby in a tree.

but, hey, is it easier,
to be out there on your own?
did you find what you're looking for?
i know i'll never be the one that you adore...

i need time to grow.
i need someone else to call my own.
don't need you to need me.
i don't love you, so come love me, tonight.

never been turned by a beautiful girl.
i've always loved a couple women in this world.
all of them matter when you're laying next to me.
i know i shook you like a baby in a tree.

but no, it ain't easier,
to be out here on my own.
i haven't found what i'm looking for.
i know you'll never be the one that i adore...

i need time to grow.
i need someone else to call my own.
don't need you to need me.
i don't love you, so come love me.

'cause nothing is gonna change:
if i wanna leave, then i'm gonna leave.
'cause nothing is gonna change:
if i wanna leave, then i'm gonna leave.

and everything is clearer now.
but, lovers have gone their way.
colors no longer fill my head:
everything is black and grey,
all black and grey.
i will curse this fickle mind of mine.
i've wasted so much time.
and when will i learn?
nothing's ever good enough:
when it's mine.

i need time to grow.
i need someone else to call my own.
don't need you to need me.
i don't love you, so come love me.

i don't love you, so come love me.
i don't love you, so come love me.
i don't love you, so come love me.
i don't love you, so come love me, tonight.

lola ray was amazzzingg. im from rhode island and i guess not many people know them cause the only fans there were me and my sister and these three drunk kids. we got there super early and saw them unloading stuff so we went up to john to ask him when they were going to open the doors and he was just the nicest guy. he's real sweet with his fans and thats good. i guess he was a little disappointed cause know one was really there but then again he was appreciative that we were there at least. i met brian too and he looks like this big scary monster but when you actually talk to him hes a big sweetheart. we got pics from them and we bought a bunch of crap so i guess they were grateful. john played great. his voice was great and the music was played SO well. when they played "we're not having any fun" i could literally feel it in my heart. i know that souunds weird but the music is just so powerful. i seriously think lola ray is the best band out there and if the right people hear them, they will be the biggest thing. i just dont want that to happen. i like being able to chat with the bandmates and stand right up against the stage. their performance was awesome, the members are sweet but yet still hardcore rockers, the music is the best out there, the vocals are wicked unique, and their just a great band altogether.

i'm a bit confused? maybe this song is about his relationship with a beautiful boy. and he's never been turned for a beautiful girl? although he's attracted to them, he prefers boys? nonetheless, a great song..

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
