A.D Lyrics

After
The ones who wait
For judgment
To befall them
And deserved are we
That need no judgment

Fear nothing
But nothing itself
Find faith in yourselves
For you're all Gods
All of you
Within yourselves

In this
The year
We pray
And after the wooden icons have Infested your mind
Ground your feet
In all that is real
And bare the scars
Of all your convictions

Wear them
Yourself
The pride
The standalones
Do not ask forgiveness from the icon
Ask it from yourselves

Sickness beginning
Lies continuing
Story and fable
See through, not able

Its cold and dry
Beside the sea
That blinds me behind me
But nothing is left of me

Hide behind as I decide
For the end of time
We will be

So as I find my eye itself
It's jealousy
The evolution would be
But nothing is left to see
What I decide
Give time
To the end of time
When I would be left to see

The motive the meaning
The better you feel me
I’m broken and freezing
Exhausted from breathing
The weakness beginning
Try and believe in
No more to believe in

I’m not like you, go and be gone
How you betrayed my trust
Oh lies, oh lies, oh lies, oh lies
If you’ll stay you’ll feel without feeling
Who lives now?

The other isn't an album, it's an E.P. of 6 tracks. More metally than 'Begins Here' but worth investing in for sure.

so does anyone actually know what this song is about?

my guess is that its about false religion or something..... but yea, if anyone has a clue...

"Was composed by Kurt on acoustic guitar. Whilst being quite an old idea the final version was put together fairly quickly. Most of the drum line was written in the studio as well as sections of the vox, bass and guitar. Once again this song was written more as a sound scape rather than a song. The drums in the middle section of the song were recorded acoustically and then with the help of Tim Palmer's touch transformed into how they sound on the track now. Clint put together a spoken word part for the beginning of both the verses in this song. As you can hear it has reversed and panned if you listen closely."

Sound scape, for sure. Such a composition; it’s like a journey

It appears to me to be about the conflict in one’s mine about religious faith, and moreover the increased conflict in the mind of a dying person. A.D. (anno domini) — the year of Christ, points to religion, but A.D. is sometimes (incorrectly) taken to mean “after death”, perhaps relating this song’s meaning to be about after one’s own death. If I have faith will I be saved when judgement is befallen?
