I have to say, I love this song. Its so very true, and the music, not only the lyrics, really make it. Don't get me wrong, Everclear is my all-time favorite band, but this is one of the only songs I know of theirs that is elevated to a higher level by the instrumentals. During the chorus, when the violins and guitars and drums are blasting, it is just amazing. If you are playing it on the car radio, windows down, there is no better feeling. Definitely one of my favorite Everclear songs, at least from recent albums.

perahps one of my favorite songs by the group (besides anything off sparkle and fade).

it's a lovely song and art's voice really carries. the lyrics describe perhaps a desperate man that is obsessed with this girl and won't accept anyone else but her. ironically he doesn't know why he likes her or why he wants to be with her.
