Spring Cleaning Lyrics
I would think that he is referring to a different Amy, since Neva Dinova is the one singing. I don't really see the link to Amy from "Amy in the White Coat."
my favourite bit of this song is at the very very end after jake has finished singing and Conor says "God Bless You" it's so much thankyou for giving my song your voice.
oh! and i love songs that mention pregnancy!!
Is the same Amy he refers to in "Amy In The White Coat"?
Chilling, anyhow.
Well, the song was written by conor oberst and not by the guy from Neva Dinova. I think this song is great though, it just seems like exactly how I feel sometimes when I see extremely realistic things when I feel like I'm sick of life . . . and then you want to be part of lfie again after seeing all these things. . .
this is my favorite bright eyes songs. i really like to hear what it would sound like if conor sang it.
i wonder what it would be like if connor had sung it, but take it easy - take it easy don't lose any sleep
conor did write it, but jake is just singing. it still is a bright eyes song. i do think its about amy from "amy in a white coat," i;m not sure why, but i mean there are sooo many girls' names out there, so why else would conor choose "amy" twice out of them all? this song is so beautiful. i love when conor comes in at the end, the contrast of their voices is wonderful.
Take It Easy, you are a dumbass. Get your facts straight before you criticize something.

Number one, I agree with mechanicalbird. Don't criticize before you properly research. Maybe people should take a look at the beauty of this song instead of who should get credit for it?
The fact is that this song is incredible. Jake's voice does good for these lyrics. As much as I love Conor's voice I must say that if this was sung by him it wouldn't mean the same for me. I feel that his voice holds a little more peace and a little less mystery. But those are just my opinions and are motivated probably by different experiences with the music than someone else.
"So she's crying an glowing She's 3 months and showing Seeing her now makes me want to live"
I don't know what he means, no one truly can unless you personally ask him. But to me this means when you see someone in a bad situation such as this, a lot of times you naturally want to help them. When you want to help someone you put yourself aside. Humans like to be needed. She makes him want to live. That's my take on it.
