Nauraushaun Lyrics
Come on, William, in sheepskin wearing
I love following
The day you took us away
The day you took me through
How I miss you
I'll be there in your song
I'll be there thinking
Oh, how I loved you
I'll be there in your song
I'll be there in your song
I'm waiting
I'm waiting for Nauraushaun
I'm waiting
She lies to us
I lied to her
Dear God, now what is he running from?
Come on, William
In nighttime when you're here
I'd rather die here, I'd die here
I'd die here with you any day
Come on, grandfather
In nighttime when you're here
I'd rather die here , I'd die here
I'd die here with you any day
Oh dear, I miss you
You won't put out, or get out
I love testing you
I'll be there in your scene
I'll be there waiting
Oh, how I want to call to you
Look, she walks away
It looks done
And we'll find her
How I love you
I'll be there in your in your song
I'll be there in your song
I'm waiting
I'm waiting for Nauraushaun
I'm waiting
I lied to her
She lied to us
Dear God, now what is she running from?
Come on, William
In nighttime when you're here
I'd rather die here, I'd die here
I'd die here with you any day
Come on, grandfather
In nighttime when you're here
I'd rather die here, I'd die here
I'm dying here
Running around to tell you
Children laugh behind you
Waiting for us to wash your face, timing
I'm waiting, Nauraushaun, and all I need to know
Lay me behind them before you leave
Go, go, I'll follow you
I can't hear you, can't hear you
Leaving you now with my life without you
Greater magic inside of you
Speak a faster judgment
Frantic to be shown the weakened
Oh, what am I looking for
The people the dead man sees, his fire
We are looking for us
You haven't completely lost
You've given me a new start
I love following
The day you took us away
The day you took me through
How I miss you
I'll be there in your song
I'll be there thinking
Oh, how I loved you
I'll be there in your song

For those of you who do not know, every Coheed and Cambria song is all about one story. You can read about the entire story, comic interpretations, and get over two gigs of Coheed and Cambria downloads at http://www.cobaltandcalcium.com . It's an amazing website...
firstly, this song is not written/performed under the name of "Coheed And Cambria". it was written years ago when they called themselves "Shabutie". I only got a live version of this track and i LOVE the atmosphere it brings to me. whew!
is that why at the beginning of devil in jersey city someone says "shabutie" right before the music kicks in? -just wondering, thanx-
After Claudio says
Come on, William
I'd rather die here, I'd die here
Come on, grandfather
in the backround they sing
Can't you see there's one last Nauraushaun
i think the beginning of the second verse is "o dear lucy" and then i think he says "and lucy, she walks away" i'm fairly sure those are the lyrics..dunno who lucy is though
this is shabutie? didnt know that.
No. . . it's oh dear, I miss you. Lol. No lucies.
By the way, this song isn't actually called Nauraushaun. Well, it may be. Actually, just let me explain.
This "song" is actually two songs. The two songs in question are Origins and Life Without You, in that order. This was played during a live set and it switched from one song directly into another. If you listen closely enough, you can hear when the music changes, and you can even hear the lyrics "life without you."
Now, even though the songs are Origins and Life Without You, I suppose that doesn't mean they couldn't collectively be known as Nauraushaun, much like the Velorium Campers have separate titles. However, I'm unsure of this, as that was never officially stated.
Nate Kelley did say that it was those two tracks combined upon being asked and listening to the song, though. If you don't know who he is, he was the drummer for Shabutie that was replaced by Josh Eppard.
what does Nauraushaun mean? exactly.
Nauraushaun is a city in New York I believe
Nauraushaun is a song they wrote while they were still Shabutie. It actually was never put on an album. They had 3 EP's, Plan to take over the World, The Penelope EP and The Delirium Trigger EP, none of which have Nauraushaun on them.
