This is a great Black Rebel song which I am surprised no one has commented on yet, the use of just a voice and one instrument is very interesting and something they don’t do often. With this song and to me I think the song is all about waiting for someone and they don’t come or you holding on to something that will never happen such as relationship and the pain it causes, but you continue.
Wow. This is the best example i have ever heard of a song being incredibly sad and saying 'everything feels so bad' without being emo! It can be done and this song proves it beautifully.
This song really hits home to me. It really awful when everything that kept you strong is no longer with you, for one reason or another. And you can't sit around and wallow in it, you must move on. But it hurts so much, every single day its with you, a dull but constant ache.
What a great expression of this.
