Phenomenon Lyrics
all freedom fighters, let's unite us, switch on your nitrous and...let's.. go...
Destination, for navigation, man up ya stations, feel the sensation surround invasion,
with communication, move quick, we might avoid contamination
loud, let's show 'em all how you move to this phenomenon, Roll! Open your soul, maybe lose
control inside of this phenomenon, just let your self go, and let everyone know you move to
this phenomenon.
the lighters, praise to the righteous, we need to guide us, get...prepared..to.. go..if you're
like us, calling all riders, roll up beside is, no place to hide us, all freedom fighters,
let's unite us, switch on your nitrous..and.. lets..go..
loud, let's show 'em all how you move to this phenomenon, roll! Open your soul, maybe lose
control inside of this phenomenon, just let your self go, and let everyone know you move to
this phenomenon.
tired of being ordinary, don't care if there's people staring, I'll rely on your strength to
carry me on. I'm not invisible like you, next time things get a little messed up, I'll shine,
but I'll never be see through. I'm fine just tryin to wake the rest up.
loud, let's show 'em all how you move to this phenomenon, roll! Open your soul, maybe lose
control inside of this phenomenon, just let your self go, and let everyone know you move to
this phenomenon.
this is not the lyrics to Phenomenon
“If you're like us, calling all riders, Roll up beside us, no place to hide us, All freedom fighters, let's unite us, Switch on your nitrous, and..let's..go”
This verse is calling out Christians (the riders) and that we shouldn’t be afraid of our Faith in Jesus (no place to hide us). The Freedom Fighters are Christians, fighting to save the world from eternal damnation
”Destination, for navigation, Man up ya stations, feel the sensation, Surround invasion, with communication, Move quick, we might, avoid contamination”
Here Trevor is saying telling us to lead people to Christ (destination for navigation). If we communicate the Gospels we are attacking the invasion, however, we need to act fast other wise we will be infected with the secular world.
”Down, here comes the sound, Everyone pound, your feet, to this phenomenon, Now, let's make it loud, Let's show 'em all how, you move to this phenomenon Roll! Open you soul, maybe lose control, inside of this phenomenon, Just, let yourself go, and let everyone know, you move to this phenomenon“
Don’t be afraid of your faith, stand up, let people know what you believe, make some sound while you are at it.
”Don't let these spiders, crawl up beside us, They want to bite us, and inject the virus Raise up your lighters, praise to the righteous, We need you to guide us, get..prepared..to..go If you're like us, calling all riders, All freedom fighters, let's unite us, Switch on your nitrous, and..let's..go”
The spiders are Satan and his demons and temptations, and want to draw us away from our cause. Stand up for your faith and unite.
“Can't take it anymore, Shake until we move the floor, What are we waiting for? Let's go! I'm tired of bein' ordinary, Don't care if there's people staring, I'll rely on Your strength to carry me on I'm not invisible like you, next time things get a little messed up, I'll shine, but I'll never be see through, I'm fine, just tryin' to wake the rest up”
Here, Trevor is asking, WHAT are we waiting for, he’s tired of being ordinary (blending in with the world) and doesn’t mind if people look at him strange because of his faith in Jesus and will rely on Him (God) to carry him (Trevor) through troubled times; he also says he won’t be invisible like some Christians (I like to call them pseudo-Christians/poser Christians) and is fine trying to get people to believe the Gospel Message.
That or I am reading too far into a really good song.
@The HP I think you reading too much into it ... sounds more like a catchy stadium rock hit they've written about themselves more so than their faith.

@The HP Freedom fighters tend to be against oppression and large institutions, such as the church. I can't agree at all that freedom fighters are trying to save the world from damnation (at least not through the methods generally deployed, which is through fear ... again the opposite of what a freedom fighter stands for).

"Infected with the secular world" ... so your faith is that insecure? Or is it saying that being good for sake of humanity will appeal to you more than the fearing the wrath of God?

Considering that Christianity is still the majority and mainstream in the USA, makes your interpretation of the last paragraph nonsensical. Furthermore it has been the Church and religions that preach exclusion (as your previous comments illustrated) and also about following, that is not standing out. Those that have stood out in history have been traditionally silenced or exiled.
Well, to me, this song is trying to tell people not to be afraid to stand up for what you believe. It shouldn't matter to others what it is that you like, but only matter to you.

this song is the best stand up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this song is the best stand up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The song meaning was right before HP its JUST about standing out from the crowd and standing up for what you believe in. There is nothing to do with Christians and their "god" The line "freedom fighters" would DEFINANTLY not refer to forcing your religion on others!
just because it doesnt literally say "christian" or "God" in the song doesnt mean it isnt about it, like i said to a guy down further down on the comment page here, do some background research on the band, i would agree 100 percent with HP's interpretation

@AdamWTF ironically freedom fighters tend to fight religious indoctrination and dogma (that is fight institutions, and Christianity is the biggest institution in the world ... so if anything the line freedom fighters would be in reference to those not religious).

This band is Christian. They sing about God. So, yeah, their songs are about God and Christianity. Some of you people need to stop replying to Christian bands' songs and claiming it isn't about God. If you don't believe this is so, just give an opinion. Not an arguement and harsh words.
This is a great song. I think its about standing out from everyone else.
I think this song is about standing up for the Lord and their sending out a call to all other christians to step forth. "Let's go! I'm tired of being ordinary, don't care if there's people staring, I'll rely on your strength to carry me on. I'm not invisible like you, next time things get a little messed up, I'll shine, but I'll never be see through. I'm fine just tryin to wake the rest up."
Joel Bruyere is the best bas player in the world he is the 4 string king
This song is basically telling us to be proud of our belief and to "let everyone know, you move to this phenomenon."
