This song is about the realization that we are all dying. And the realization that we've put off a lot of the stuff that we always wanted to do b/c we figured that we could do that later but there isn't enough time. And also that we may never get to do everything we want b/c we can't escape what we must do
We are all so blinded by the things we do everyday (work, jobs,etc.), that we do not realize what is really important in life. When we finally realise what life is all about, it's too late.
