This is a love/break-up ballad. The speaker uses metaphors to explain how incomplete their life is without their significant other.

"I can't sleep a wink Can't shut you out Can't even think I can't look away From the train wreck Of mistakes"

Eventually the speaker reveals that the only way that they can overcome their problems is to get their lost love back.

"I am barely breathing The grip around my neck I am barely living And I won't make it back You, without you"

Overall, this is an awesome song. It's quite catchy and the lyrics are amazing. However, standing outside your ex's window with a radio would still be ill-advised.
