Oh man DiabiLuMiNaDa thats the exact same thing i did! It happened before I met my boyfriend and there was a friend i was in love with for so long. When i finally confessed to him he was sad to say that he loved his friend who just moved away and took his heart with her. I was so downtrodden, and this son g related to me so much it was amazing.

This song makes me cry like a baby. It's really straightforward in terms of meaning if you listen, but even if that isn't exactly what happens, it's still really sad. I'm afraid to listen to it, because almost everything is making me cry.

I co-worker of mine told me a story about this song. She is almost 60, and I, 19. Her husband had cheated on her once and this song helped her to realize that it is not worth throwing away all the happiness she had because of this wrong doing. She said she would listen to this song wondering all the same things and how her marriage could end because of one thing.

wow i just heard this song for the first time today. it kills me to listen to it. i had a girlfriend for 4 yrs, then we broke up and she met some other guy. its been over a year now and for some reason i cant get over her. anyway, thats how this song relates to me. almost word for word my feelings.

In 2005 the woman I had been married to for 10 months left me for another man. It took almost a year before I was truly over her. Six months after she left I met a very dear friend, we actually went on two dates before we decided friends is more what we wanted. As Christians, we shared many spiritual things in our lives. One day, when I was feeling down, we were emailing each other during the day, she sent me the lyrics to this song. I went home and downloaded it and listened to it for over an hour, crying the whole time. It fit so well into what I was going through.
