Maginot Line Lyrics
traveling into the next hundred years, or so
without a saftey net
i want it to be
everything at once, like a hurricane
destroy without refrain
i need it to be
i know what youre marching over
i know where you're pointed towards
you give yourself away
its all related
cut me in
count me out
it's the wrong way
no way, it can't be
no way they've breached your line
without a saftey net
i want it to be
everything at once, like a hurricane
destroy without refrain
i need it to be
i know what youre marching over
i know where you're pointed towards
you give yourself away
its all related
cut me in
count me out
it's the wrong way
no way, it can't be
no way they've breached your line

I'm thinking metaphor (big shock, eh). Comparing his preparations, etc for his life to France's Maginot Line from the 1930s-40s. No matter how great you think you're doing, there's a potential "blitzkrieg attack" that can tear right through (or pass around) all of your defenses. Basically, my summation for the meaning is "life throws us curveballs when we're sitting on fastball."
