In the fictional Marvel Comics universe, Uatu is the member of the extraterrestrial species known as the Watchers assigned to observe Earth and its solar system.

As he is thus the Watcher whom Earth-based superheroes most often come contact with, he is often known as simply the Watcher.

I think this song is about a couple who stays together just because,even when they know that the love is gone,and then when they separate it is just worse because the longer you stay in that kind of relationship the more hurt you are going to be when it ends

with that, i think he feels as if he's just watching this realtionship and has no control over it. he's wanting things to be all right, but there's no way that he can make it. he feels totally out of control and is only relying on hope to save this relationship that's turned bad.

Cleary Blood are Marvel fans.Not only is this song title a Marvel character but so is En Sabah Nur,which is Apocalypse's birth name.
