Really the song's about Satan, you can hear the "Satan" part ealry in the Animatrix Edit, not so much in the album and 12" cut

Yeah i think it does have something to do with satan BUT what does it really mean. I can't quite understand it all myself. I think she says "snapping at my heals made me LIVE" though. Sounds pretty clearly like LIVE. :)

whenever I hear the main melody of this song, I get this sudden thought that the words "beauty never fades" ties in perfectly with the melody. What I'm trying to say is that the melody of the song sounds like beauty will never fade. I cant really explain...its really hard to comprehend lol but hopefully this was a good enough explaination

This song is also in the EVE-Online promo video Eve never fades which you can find on www.eve-online.com . It's an awesome video.

I fell in love with this song after seeing it on an eve online trailer. Still strongly associate eve with it.

It was only recently when I realized that the song is actually about vampires.

The interpretation of the following lines seem plausible.

"Come to steal your lifeblood away"

Taking someone else's life.

"Looking for a beauty that never fades"

The beauty that never fades is death.
