Over You Lyrics
Here I go again
Just gonna play it like a fool again
Here I go again
Over you
Over you
I'm just like a bell again
You know, I'm starting to ring again
Here I go again
Over you
Over you
Typically, when I had it
Treated it like dirt
Now, naturally, when I don't have it
I am chasing lesson-less rainbows
Here we go again
I guess, I'm like a fool again
Here I go again
Over you
Over you
Over you
Over you
Just gonna play it like a fool again
Here I go again
Over you
Over you
You know, I'm starting to ring again
Here I go again
Over you
Over you
Treated it like dirt
Now, naturally, when I don't have it
I am chasing lesson-less rainbows
I guess, I'm like a fool again
Here I go again
Over you
Over you
Over you

Just a good old-fashioned rock n roll song. I'm pretty sure this never got recorded in the studio. The only place I know it to be available is on the live album "1969 Vol. 2" Shame because it's when of their best songs.
I don't know shit about Velvet Underground, but I know this is how they wanted to sound. How they acknowledged their sound as being. With the music like a backing track just driving along. Anyone who wants to know Velvet Underground HAS to hear this song because it is a good display of the essence of them.
i always thought he said "lesson less rainbows" instead of "less and less rainbows". he is saying that when he has it, he doesn't care about it. now that he doesn't have it, he is chasing pipe dreams and not learning anything from it. one of my favorite VU songs
@dugapony I heard it as lesson-less rainbows too, makes sense that way
