omg i cant believe noone has commented on this beautiful song!! its so gorgeous, i think its about a guy who loves one of his friends and wants her but "though your not mine" shows he doesnt think she'll love him back but he would do anything for her because he loves her so much!!! its amazing
WOW a very simple but meaning full song.Just now this song means alot too me. There is a woman in my life who iam friends with but i would like it to be more but i know it never will but i would still do anything for her. When ever shes down i will do my best to make her happy, when ever she has problems i will do my best to help her solve them. She dosent know how i feel about her and iam too scared to let her know incase i ruin the little that i have with her. I would rather have her as a friend than nothing at all.

"Sit and talk for hours" i stayed up till 4 am just to talk to them.. heh 7 hour conversation.. "Though you've not said much You said it all" i love that line, well love the whole song actually.. He know's she doesn't feel the same, or isn't nearlly as important to her as she is to him.. I can relate to this so much. mainly becasue i broke up with my ex 4 weeks ago and im still gutted and cant get over it, but at the end of the day id still do anything for her and just be there for her...even though i know i will never be with her :(
Personally, I think this is actually about a guy who's actually GOING OUT with a girl, but realises that she doesn't really like him in that way, despite the fact he's really fallen hard for her. You can see this really well in the line "I'll never light your eyes up like they should" But in the chorus he's saying that he'll be there for her until she tells him how he feels, and even after that he'll still be there, even though it'll kill him to see her with another guy. This is kinda personal for me, cos i got dumped last night but id still be there for the girl no matter what happened.
