Falling Down Lyrics

At a stoplight in the middle of the night,
Stuck in first and I wonder if I should stay
The right is history and to my left the choice is right
But this seems a little bit too hard
And all the questions come running through my mind - will I see this another way?
The simple truth is I'm falling, falling down, and I don't want to drag her through the bottom

Then she says,
"Sit in front of me, turn around you'll see, I'm all you'd ever want, all you'd ever need,
Come back into my world, you know I'm always yours"
And she makes so much sense, when she says "don't throw this away"

It's hard to know what's real when it all seems wrong
But I promise you I'll find what's going on
I just need to follow the sun before I'll know if I'll see this another way
The simple truth is I'm falling, falling down, and I don't want to drag you through the bottom

Still you say "Sit in front of me, turn around you'll see, I'm all you'd ever want, all you'd ever need,
Come back into my world, you know I'm still your girl"
And she makes so much sense, when she says "don't throw this away"

Isabell she treads so lightly, floating in her gypsy dresses
Even though her words cut deep I can't deny the truth in them
On the phone she talks a lot and me, I listen hopelessly,
So directionless, I head into oblivion
And then I decide to give another random memory,
To remind her of the first time we sang out to the sea
Oh Isabell, you always understood me,
Please Isabell, forgive me now

And all the questions come running through my mind - will I see this another way?
The simple truth is I'm falling, falling down, and I don't want to drag you through the bottom,
No I don't want to drag you through the bottom

this song is amazing! the first time i heard him singing "Come On", i fell in love and i ran out and bought the cd. this song really sticks out on the cd to me...it's so beautiful. he sings about isabell (his girlfriend-but ex i'm pretty sure now-whew whew!!) and the lyrics and the flowing way he sings it is so romantic. he seems so deep and thoughtful, full of romance..the perfect man! haha i wish, and i'm sure every girl wishes, to be isabell..plus he's sooo hott with his dark eyes and long locks! his piano playing rocks-along with his singing makes him even more amazing! i just listen to his cd over and over and over...one of my favorites! my new obsession! "come back into my world, you know i'm always yours":)

The beginning is actually a metaphor, brightestfirefly. He's saying that he has a decision to make and is calling it a stoplight. He then tells us about his choices. "The right is history." I think that he means that his first choice is to move back to London, England to be with Isabell. That's history because they're no longer together. "And to my left the choice is right." I think that he's saying that it's time to move on with his life and forget about the past. "Will I see this another way?" He's wondering whether he'll later regret ending the relationship between Isabell and himself. He's also using a pun when he says, "So directionless, I head into oblivion." He's making another reference to being at a stoplight but is also saying that he's emotionally lost.

If you guys like Ben Jelen but maybe you could go for a little more Classical or even if you dont, Josh Groban is a romantic piano playing, drum hitting voice of an angel kinda a guy with curly long longs, some may find him unattractive, BUT I THINK HES A HOTTIE
