I don't really like this lyric much at all. It's kind of MDB-by-numbers. I mean, rhyming "heart" with "heart". come on!
And where the hell are these "words of light"?
I really like this song alot, although I have to agree with that "heart" part. It feels like the lyrics are written for the music, not the other way around.
This is one of my favorite songs. A true art piece if you ask me.
Its pretty obious about what it tells. About the misory of a person. And about no will to live. The lyrics are done to fit the music. Its truly great work.
I believe this song is about a man in his last minutes of life. He has given up all hope, and is waiting to die.
It's about a man getting regretful in his last moment of life.
