i love this song but it doesn't make total sense. they're talking about mice singing and wallpapers moving. i think he was high when he wrote it lol
this song is about how getting high can make the world seem great, even when its not.
I love the line, "my soul's in my smile".
Could have been about drugs and their effects, but it's also a feel good song that may not make sense, and that could have been the sober intention.

Song about a drug experience, either shrooms or acid since the imagery talks about things you'd see while hallucinating. I mean, in the first line he says "So high". Not to hard to figure out.
whatever an artist does to get their music out of their head isn't relevant..everyone should read the lyrics and realize the message...that LIFE is a wonderful place, just slow down and look at EVERYTHING..if it's not amazing then you better go out there and fix the world.
