Let's Get Known Lyrics
say....let's get known
if we keep it up, we'll show the haters
it's gonna be soon not later
hey! let's get known!
if we work real hard, we can buy some matching clothes
for our live shows
look at the ants on the floor
they work real hard, lifting 3 times their mass
and sometimes more
so what do you say?
let's get known
let's have 3 spotlights shining
with all our work shown
what do you say? it's all on the line...
if we keep it up, we'll show the haters
it's gonna be soon not later
if we work real hard, we can buy some matching clothes
for our live shows
they work real hard, lifting 3 times their mass
and sometimes more
let's get known
let's have 3 spotlights shining
with all our work shown

they are definetly poking fun at mainstream....or just poking fun at the music industry and it's very funny
Nah, I think it's just about a couple of friends who decided to becone famous. Maybe an homage to themselves...?
I think this song is about how all of these bands think it's so easy in the music business and how they can just make it big, no problem. They talk about the ants on the floor lifiting 3 times their mass, so they're like saying that they can do anything if they try to. But it's not possible because we're humans and not ants. All of the rest of the lyrics are mostly about just being famous.
I dunno, I always thought it could be sincere.
It's definitely sarcastic. "Haters" and "matching clothes" make that true.
does anyone know what the dialogue in the beginning of this song is. it sounds like television comercials, i have been wondering for a while, its fairly inaudible.
yeah it's like radio streaming. it has the song "since you've been gone". and there's that man's dialogue, which i'm pretty sure is actually a quote that i can't find anywhere (but i might just have become used to these words after hearing the song so many times)

this tune repeats "working real hard" a lot.
i think she's setting a goal for once in her life, but since it seems too big, she's trying to get a friend to do it with her - as well as comparing Hard Work to ants and how it can't be that big a deal and maybe she'd achieve, make it.
"let's have 3 spotlights shining with all our work shown"
most people don't want every detail of their artworks public or uncovered, so that line just feels uncareful, spontaneous. yes.
theres no way the song is sarcastic. i think its a childish/playful way of portraying that whole "lets follow our dreams, we can do anything if we put our mind to it" idea. the unicorns are generally very sarcastic, but the whole song seems very sincere.
love this song
theres a lot of strange people involved in it; you know theres some people who are really really heavily into the more satanic aspects of it
isnt it 2 spotlights?
it is
