Do You Remember What You Came For? Lyrics

How do you suppose we go from east to left in a semi tangent graph?
Collapsed inside a useless thin-screened fully coloured tube
Opinions change, only because we both know, we both know of
The first collage, and what it held, experience tells of a sinister plan
Do you remember what you came for? Do you remember what you came for? The children
How do you suppose we go, from west to right in a fully rounded route

I think this song is about how our lives are so wrapped up with things that don't matter, that we forget what should matter in out lives. We ask all these pointless questions that we'll never need to know the answers to, but never find out about the important things in life. I could be wrong though... BJS xXx

I think this song is about asking those questions that are difficult to answer. "Why don't we talk anymore?" "What happened to us?" "Where did we go wrong?"

There really isn't a right answer. The only answer is "people change," but that just sounds rude and cynical. So, in answer to the question, the person asks something like: "Why are you here?" "What do you want from me?" (Do you remember what you came for?)

The line "the children" could represent "the good ol' times" when everyone was younger.

Just the way I've always interpreted the song; two old friends or lovers realizing that things have changed, and not knowing why exactly.
