I think I downloaded this song by accident, but I still can't believe no one else has commented yet! When I heard it the first time I was just like wow....It's really not like any of her other songs, in my opinion, though the lyrics definetely have a Scarlet's Walk feel.
makes me think extension of ''virginia" like ms. virginia laid herself down and betrayed the land, she can't remember her name.. ''kiss the brave man that you thought that you protected" basically in trying to protect the land and the people it was destroyed so now she's trapped in that consequence ''she'll be down when the mountain lets her go"
