Torniquet (Marilyn Manson cover) Lyrics
She's made of hair and bone and little teeth,
And things I cannot speak.
She comes on like a crippled plaything,
Spine is just a string.
I wrapped our love in all this foil,
Silver-tight like spider legs.
I never wanted it to ever spoil,
but flies will lay their eggs.
Take your hatred out on me,
Make your victim my head.
You never ever believed in me,
I am your tourniquet.
Prosthetic synthesis with butterfly,
Sealed up with virgin stitch.
If it hurts baby, please tell me,
Preserve the innocence.
I never wanted it to end this way,
But flies will lay their eggs
Take your hatred out on me,
Make your victim my head.
You never ever believed in me,
I am your tourniquet.
What I wanted.
What I needed.
I got from me.
What I wanted.
What I needed.
I got from me.
Take your hatred out on me,
Make your victim my head.
You never ever believed in me,
I am your tourniquet.
Take out!
Take out!
From me.
I am your tourniquet.
Not even I believed in me,
I am your tourniquet.
And things I cannot speak.
She comes on like a crippled plaything,
Spine is just a string.
Silver-tight like spider legs.
I never wanted it to ever spoil,
but flies will lay their eggs.
Make your victim my head.
You never ever believed in me,
I am your tourniquet.
Sealed up with virgin stitch.
If it hurts baby, please tell me,
Preserve the innocence.
But flies will lay their eggs
Make your victim my head.
You never ever believed in me,
I am your tourniquet.
What I needed.
I got from me.
What I needed.
I got from me.
Make your victim my head.
You never ever believed in me,
I am your tourniquet.
Take out!
From me.
I am your tourniquet.

I don't think the lyrics above are correct, Rasuputina changed them a bit. I love this song
Yes, instead of 'she', its 'I'. Kinda like Manson wrote the song about this girl, and Rasputina is singing it as the girl.
moloy, shut the hell up. convering a song by someone doesn't mean you're trying to get close to them by way of talent. it's about personal interpretation, which means it is VERY possible to recreate emotion in a cover - that's what makes them different to the originals. your comment would be more justifiable if Marilyn Manson was original, which he isn't (though that's not to destract from his music, which i do happen to like). i might add that it's also not your place to judge whether it's ok to cover Marilyn Manson or not.. as if he gives a shit about what you think! and since he's done covers of songs himself anyway, i can't see why he'd have much of a problem with it.
Moloy, isn’t that a little hypocritical? I mean, Manson has covered quite a few songs himself -- GOOD songs, some that in my opinion, he completely maimed. Sweet Dreams, Coma White, Suicide is Painless, I Put A Spell On You, Highway to Hell, Personal Jesus, Tainted Love, maybe more…? I’ve not heard this remake yet, so I wouldn’t know if it is any good, but come on, man. Manson isn’t god. So what if someone made a remake of one of his songs. Boo-bloody-hoo. Loosen up a bit. You’d think that would be more of a compliment then an insult. It is said that imitation is the best form of flattery.
Just to point out that Coma White isn't a cover. Manson also covered Five To One by The Doors.
Opps, sorry. My bad. x_o; I was told it was a cover by someone who’s musical inquiry I trust. You're right, though, most likely.
Moloy comment is especially ironic given that Rasputina covered "Tourniquet" and "Dried Up, Tied Up, and Dead to the World" as part of the tour during which Rasputina was opening for Marilyn Manson. He was probably present during the recording of "Tourniquet" and you can actually HEAR his VOICE at the beginning of the recording of "Dried Up". Melora definitely had mister Warner's blessing for those two covers.
Here are the correct lyrics. Or at least, more correct.
I'm made of hair and bone and little teeth. I think I cannot speak. I comes on like a crippled plaything. My spine is just a string.
I wrapped our love in all this foil. Silver-tight like spider legs. I never wanted it to ever spoil. but flies will lay their eggs.
Take your hatred out on me. Make your victim my head. You never ever believed in me. I am your tourniquet.
Prosthetic synthesis of butterfly. Sealed up with virgin stitch. If it hurts baby, please don't cry. Preserve my innocence.
I never wanted it to end this way. But flies will lay their eggs. Take your hatred out on me, Make me your victim, my head. You never ever believed in me. I am your tourniquet.
What I wanted. What I needed. I try to get from me.
Nothing wanted. Nothing needed. No one comes for free.
Take your hatred out on me. Make your victim my head. You never ever believed in me. I am your tourniquet.
You never ever believed in me. You never ever believed. You never ever believed in me. You never ever believed.
lol I'm assuming Moloy is havin a laff.
Okay, 'Maloy'...Would you kindly pull your head out of your rectal region? Have you EVER even heard this cover? And, as markf stated, where you aware that the two Marilyn Manson covers where indeed performed as a red velvet carpet for Manson's enterance to the stage while touring with Rasputina? I'm pretty sure he didn't mind/ was totally stoked about the covers. And, you know the song 'Rock-n-Roll Nigger'? Or did you start liking Manson durring the HolyWood phase? Or maybe your one of those faggots who is really into Golden Age. Well, 'Rock-n-Roll Nigger' is indeed a cover... And, from the sound of it...I'd say Manson did a grand job (and, I of course trust my oppinion over yours because it is blatantly obvious that you have horrible taste and are a raging imbecile)..As was Rasputina a sucess with ther cover of Tornequet. So why don't you go home and sit in your dark dank hole and ponder about how your going to make enough money to afford protection from the suns rays while you carry your umbrella all the way to the nearest CD distributer so you can get a copy of Eat Me, Drink Me the second it comes out. Oh, and by the way...Incase you didn't know, that's the title of Marilyn Manson's newest CD...
