This band is kinda commercial...I mean I listen to old emo stuff like You And I, Portraits Of Past, etc and I just hate what emo has became over the years...Though this band has a "pop sound" their lyrics are just true and they come and grab every inch of my black withered heart...
I like this song because it means something to me. Its about a boy that is obviously in love with this girl and hes not sure if she feels the same way anymore. But he doesnt want to keep crawling back to her. Hes said some mean things in the past and hes sorry. When I think about this song I think about a couple in the rain. All of the songs by this artist remind me of rain. Lots of dark colours The only thing I dont understand is the part where he talks about her hand and his eye. That part makes me think that hes an abusive boyfriend. And kinda scares me.
I think the end refers to the girl hitting the guy, if any hitting occurred at all. It seems illogical that it would jump from being through the eyes of the guy and then to the girl at the end. Or "My eyes healed nicely" could simply be referring to the times he cried so hard over her his eyes were raw. That's my take on it, anyway. Brilliant song.

I feel like the line "How's your hand, my eyes healed nicely" is talking about two people in a relationship getting into a physical fight and hurting each other. I don't think it's really implying that he's an abusive boyfriend but both people in the relationship got rather abusive.
