i am in love with this song..and this band! this song is sooo easy to relate to, as am i sure many people, myself included, have felt this way. I think that this song is about a person who has recently gotten out of a relationship, and is trying so hard to forget about their ex. The person meant so much to them, that they are forcing themselves to hate them, and trying to make themselves believe that the person meant nothing to them. awesome song! getting over someone is definitley a hard thing to do!

I absolutely love this song! I'm relatively young, and haven't really experienced a lot of heartbreak regarding boyfriends, but I have had a lot of problems with my dad (or lack there of) and these lyrics really explain how I feel.

As a teenager, I really do feel like I shouldn't have to close up to deal with crap like this, and neither should anyone else. I know this isn't what the lyrics are about, but it really hits home for me
