Ilah (Silent War) Lyrics

Skin like nicotine
She was dressed to kill for me
Flesh cut from magazines
Hold your breath for me

And scream

My silent war
How could I ask for more
How could I ask for more?

Taste the sickening sweet
When you raise your glass for me (and my own trophy)
The win, the defeat, parasite
The disease owns me

In my silent war
How could I ask for more
How could I...

You’re the parasite
In my silent war
Would you fight
In my silent war?

Such a different type of song for Blindspott, I reckon it's sweet az tho. Butttt CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THE MAORI SPEECH AT THE END MEANS???

Did you find out what the Maori speech is? I would really like to know. Ive only heard the song once and a friend overseas asked if I could find out.

@Live_FASTER sounds like some kind of prayer or speech of some sort. I’m not good with Maori but generally the first and last sentences sound like that with prayers and stuff from what I’ve heard. Unable to translate it tho sorry. And I’m here 13 years later with that
