One of the sadder songs i've ever heard. Mikey's solo is haunting. It's beyond beautiful. I also like the way Brandon's voice is exposed in the song making it seem so solemn. It makes me want the girl from all my old photographs again. sigh

i like this song a lot, its got very good lyrics. i esp. like when he says: "i need you in front of me, saying my name, saying to me, i want you the way you are" its totally awesome how that part goes and just the phrase that he says, its totally how love feels when you miss her.

All I can say is I want what he is talking about...It makes you sit and think what all love is and what is stands for...very deep

Ever listen to a song and at first didn't like it, but slowly warmed up to it? That's how I am with this song. I was confused on the meaning of the lyrics ("You make me happy..") and how the song was done. The song gave this melancholic tone, but I didn't understand the point of "You make me happy.", it didn't make since to me. But after readin the lyrics, it does make since. The melacholic tone is due to something gone, something regretting, something missed. But, the person (highly likely female, I don't think something would be written like this to a guy.) made him feel good in the past. But he knew he couldn't see the person anymore, and missed them.

Kind of reminds me of "I Miss You", (almost) same lyrical content, but musically, different.

Love it. This song is simply wonderful. And the lyrics don't need explanation i think the meaning is quite clear, at least to me

OrcishIncubus i wasn't confused at all, and i don't understand what you mean with "highly likely female, I don't think something would be written like this to a guy". THat makes no sense.. it's a feeling, and believe me, a girl can feel that exact way for a guy.

i think there's a wrong part there... it should be "saying my name, saying to me, saying to me, saying to me 'i choose the way you are, You, the way you are'"

And it's just another incubus song man, such a GREAT band agree with Sniper5785 and dmomo2 the melody is amazing, the lyrics are wonderful brandon's voice is incredible, and he sure lets his feelings out

we've seen all this elements before on other incubus songs. Incubus rocks.
