I love this song, you can hear the hatred in his voice. This is Robb Flynn's message to his biological parents, who put him up for adoption.
i was adopted myself at an early age and this song does run very true to how i feel towards my biologival parents it's just a pain that some people feel towards the abandonment at such an early age, i don't know about rob flynn's situation it could be different but it is somethin that stays with you for life

Flynn told LA Weekly that for the longest time, he hated his biological parents and never wanted anything to do with them, and he said that he wrote this song as a "fuck you" to them. Flynn doesn't consider them his parents anymore and has cut them off entirely. His adoptive parents are considered his real parents now, because they actually wanted and raised him

quiff is right. This is a message to Rob Flynns real parents who left him when he was only a baby and put him up for adoption, hence the name of the song 'Left Unfinished'.
Robb's real parents never left them, he has a great relationship with them. If you're referring to the birth parents, call them that, the ones who brought him up deserve to be called real parents.

But I don't know why Robb feels such anger towards his biological parents,since they had the good grace to put him up for adoption & give him a better life than they thought they could provide. I havn't gone through what he has,so I won't pass any judgement,it's just a thought. I guess he's just excorcising his abondonment issues.
I read in an Interview with Robb Flynn, that he said he was subject to sexual harrasment and molestation by his father. Before he was put up for adoption before he was abandoned. Not sure if this is true, but this could be where the anger is coming from.
to LVH. I don't think this is true considering he was putup for adoption when he was 6 months old. I dont think he could remember when he was 6 months old.

This is one of my favorite songs on the album. I can't relate to his parents putting him up for adoption, but my dad's not a Father of the Year either.
