"Left Unfinished" as written by Philip John Demmel, Adam Duce, Robert Conrad Flynn and Dave Mcclain....
Why was I born?
Sometimes I wish I didn't know
Been times when
I wish that I had just never been
Why did you have me?
Or better yet why'd you leave?
So to the people that could fuck
But then abandoned me

I'll give to this world what you couldn't give
Love the unwanted, every child born discarded
Add to the flock
The rejects you dumped on

I'll never forget
Life you disdain
So to the parents that bore me this pain
With all those things you left unfinished

You never could love me
I'm glad that you never did
My parents that raised me
Had plenty of that to give
And for that
I'll love them forever with all my heart
But to you
Don't let there be no mistake about it
Fuck you, you cocksucker
Fuck you, you whore
I'll live my life the opposite of what you are

Love will be my rock
The rock that I stand on

I'll never forget
Life you disdain
So to the parents that bore me this pain
With all those things you left unfinished

Don't try to reach out to me
Don't try to call
The boy that you created
Is dead for all you fucking know
You just pretend you've never heard or seen
The name Lawrence Mathew Cardine

General CommentI love this song, you can hear the hatred in his voice.
This is Robb Flynn's message to his biological parents, who put him up for adoption.

General Commenti was adopted myself at an early age and this song does run very true to how i feel towards my biologival parents it's just a pain that some people feel towards the abandonment at such an early age, i don't know about rob flynn's situation it could be different but it is somethin that stays with you for life

General Commentquiff is right. This is a message to Rob Flynns real parents who left him when he was only a baby and put him up for adoption, hence the name of the song 'Left Unfinished'.

General CommentYour all right. But I don't know why Robb feels such anger towards his biological parents, since they had the good grace to put him up for adoption & give him a better life than they thought they could provide. I havn't gone through what he has,so I won't pass any judgement,it's just a thought. I guess he's just excorcising his abondonment issues.

General CommentI read in an Interview with Robb Flynn, that he said he was subject to sexual harrasment and molestation by his father. Before he was put up for adoption before he was abandoned. Not sure if this is true, but this could be where the anger is coming from.

    General Commentto LVH.
I don't think this is true considering he was putup for adoption when he was 6 months old. I dont think he could remember when he was 6 months old.

General Commentlisten to the sing "five" it tells u about what happened to him, and he just hates his parents for abandoning him, which when u find out, ur parents u thought were ur parents rnt really ur parents, but the people who bore you were some people who just gave u up, is prolly a pretty horible feeling

General CommentThis is one of my favorite songs on the album. I can't relate to his parents putting him up for adoption, but my dad's not a Father of the Year either.
