Yes. Actually, Schaffer wrote this about a friend of his in Iraq, who's in the army. That friend lost his leg there, so this song is a dedication to him. Bless you Schaffer!
I believe the song is about US Soldier in Vietnam. The Line "Their Teeth And Their Ears Are Trophies For Me" is a possible refrence to the way American Soldiers would remove these parts off enemy soldiers and keep them as a trophy. Killer song
