Just The Way I'm Feeling

I'm fairly sure this song's about Jon Lee who was Feeders drummer until he committed suicide in 2001 due to marital problems. I think the song trys to empathise with what he must have been feeling at the time and tries to give a reason to his death.

How come no one has commented on this song? Not really sure what it is about to be honest. Some of the lyrics in this song I can relate to whereas in others i cannot. I would take this song to be about not liking where you are at the moment and wanting to go somewhere else. It could be about a relation ship I don't know.

I think this song is largely influenced by the feelings of the band at the time, whether directly based around the suicide or not.

To me this song means as it says in the title, 'Just the Way I'm Feeling.' An inexplicable emotional rollercoaster that can't be defined in any words other than, this is the way I feel, it'll pass eventually but right now this is how I am feeling. Just because I am... Overall it reflects depression, whether in a relationship situation or not.

Either way one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard next to Iris (GGD) and possibly the greatest music video ever made - original mix animation in a very old style that's not seen nowadays, classic every time.

i love this song but have absolutely no idea what it's about. if you actually look at the lyrics it kindof seems like a relationship that's been going downhill... whoever it is is torn between the one they're with and someone else, and they're needing the person they're with to salvage what's left of their relationship... or something. :)

i think its about how this guy has just told this girl he likes her, or just kissed her or shown his feelings somehow and she doesnt feel the same. and now they feel really embarressed "You're watching clouds come over you, and I feel it's going down" and hes just wishing that shed let him know she does care "I'm waiting for your healing hand, One touch could bring me round" but he can see she doesnt feel the same "Two different views...". i hope that made sense! if you read the lyrics again with that in mind it makes sense. well to me anyway. haha. good song. i like the beginning especially.

i think this song is about a two people that have maybe just started seeing each other or something, and the guy knows thats its not right and that it isnt going to work out 'you feel the moments gone too soon' and its just about how he doesnt know how he feels about her or how he'd feel whether they broke up or stayed together

I got the impression that it was about a relationship falling apart. Maybe one where one or both parties know it isn't working out, but cant seem to end it-"I can't get out There's no way out of here"

I'm with AndyDunn, as I recall they said at the time it was about the Jon Lee. I think it shows how much they actually cared about him.

Whatever it's about it's a fantastic song and plays on the bittersweet edge. There's more familiarity in this song than if it was a new relationship - it's obviously about something a bit more there and failing.
