Good song. Great opener to the album Telekon. Once again Numan sings about himself and his position of stardom. According to his autobiography, Praying To The Aliens, he was singing of ending touring forever because he had had enough of fame. He had only been famous for about a little over a year when this was released but he found he couldn't handle it. The thing is he got famous too fast...pretty much overnight.
The Japanese lyrics translated mean "I leave you" and is directed at his fans.

Great, absolutely awesome album opener - terrible single though! I couldn't understand parts of what he was singing so I went to look at the lyric sleeve...and there was freaking Japanese hiragana where I expected English words to be! I love languages and speak 2 (and 1/2 lol), it irritated me to no end back then that I didn't even notice he had started singing in a language other than English in the middle of the song!! It is a fantastic example of how his voice can make understanding him...quite difficult at times hahaha.

Now, NOW I've got the Japanese bit, in hiragana, tattooed on my arm, just under Gary's face (from the Tubeway Army album) on my wrist. This song will always be special to me!!
