ok i am sorry..i thought this song was about a relationship..but then i read it was about god..ok..if u wanna write a song about him..this is liek the best one..i just am in love with the music it reminds me of EVANESCENCE

This is probably one of my all-time favorite songs because it is so true. We all feel like God has left us and one point or another, but we just have to hold tight to what we know, he's here, and we're never alone.
I also thought it was about a relationship, but it definitely seems to be about God. That doesn't, however, mean it can't be about a relationship. When I hear this song I think about the show Doctor Who (anyone watch??) because I first heard it in a Doctor Who video. So for me, it's about one of the characters (the Doctor) being away from the other (Rose) and how she still feels and needs him even though he is away from her. (A tear because Billie is leaving :'( NO!!!) Or it could be about when someone you care deeply about dies and how you still need them and you can feel them with you.
I'm not religious (at all, I'm an atheist) so for me it's about a relationship. It just depends on the person listening to the song. You could think it's about God or a relationship, it could go either way. That's why it's a great song!
I've never understood writing love songs to God. That's weird. You guys know that's weird, right? If this many people think it's a romantic love song, there's a reason for that.

This song to me means that no matter what is going on in your life if you feel like your alone b/c you dont have anyone by your side God is always there for you and you know he is there even tho you cant see him hold on tight to your faith in him and your never alone

What I like about this song is that for those non-Christian folk like myself, we don't have to hear direct references to God. Not that I hate Christianity, of course. It'd be the same as hearing a song that goes 'ALLAH ROCKS!'
Anyways. It's very easy to percieve this song as a love song, perhaps to a lover whose died or moved on.
Haha yes, I I'm non-Cristian.. too. In fact, I have no religion. But the only thing I think is that this song isn't about 'God'. It's probably about a relationship of some type, where the man had not been able to talk/see her for some sort of reason... still a good song, God worshiping crap or not.

hey, i AM a christain but i still thought it was about a relationship. in my opinion it sounds like she's saying that the boy just left her but she will never forget him and she'll always be there for her.

This song is amazing to me it means that in your heart God is telling you that you are never alone even though sometimes you may feel like you are.God is always with you.
i love this song! amen Siaws9650! such amazing lyrics sung by such an amazing voice. its about GOD but i can see how it could be about a relationship. soo good! one of my favorites
