Oh My Love Lyrics
Oh my love for the first time in my life
My eyes are wide open
Oh my lover for the first time in my life
My eyes can see
I see the wind, oh I see the trees
Everything is clear in my heart
I see the clouds, oh I see the sky
Everything is clear in our world
Oh my love for the first time in my life
My mind is wide open
Oh my lover for the first time in my life
My mind can feel
I feel the sorrow, oh I feel the dreams
Everything is clear in my heart
I feel life, oh I feel love
Everything is clear in our world
My eyes are wide open
Oh my lover for the first time in my life
My eyes can see
Everything is clear in my heart
I see the clouds, oh I see the sky
Everything is clear in our world
My mind is wide open
Oh my lover for the first time in my life
My mind can feel
Everything is clear in my heart
I feel life, oh I feel love
Everything is clear in our world

This is a beautiful song. It has a rare beauty that is in John Lennon
s voice. I cant really explain how his voice moves me to tears, its the tranquil sound that is so peaceful and flowing that comes out of him and you can imagine and almost also share the same emotion. Its so rare when a musician can string together ordinary words that alone mean nothing, and make people feel the experience in words and lyrics that is love. John Lennon loved Yoko Ono and people around the world just could not except that those two had really found their one and only`s. This song, in my opinion, is John telling Yoko that because you have come into my life everything that was depressing me and blocking my views are gone and that is because of you and your love, Oh my Love.I feel that this song is about one of John Lennon's many experiences with L.S.D. , Yoko and him were dosing acid daily. i think this combined with the immense love they felt together create the inspiration for this song.

One of the most beautiful and underrated songs Lennon ever wrote. Basically it's just about finding your soulmate or someone you truly love, and how the world seems so much better since you found that person. Obviously he wrote this about Yoko.
this song is considered as underrated? wtf? if it is really underrated than people are crazy. this is one of the best lennon songs ever. how could you not like it? its beautiful and everyone can relate to it at some point in their life.
underrated means that it doesn't get enough attention that it deserves...hence, they're saying they like the song...

this is one of my favorite songs. it's so nakedly honest and pleading, in a way. to me, it sounds like something that would be sung after being almost totally defeated, and he's laying sprawled across her lap, covered in bruises and blood pooling everywhere and pain in his eyes, yet a smile plays across his face and this song falls out of him, just because she's there with him... or this is something that could be sung as they're being dragged apart to unknown separate places, and it's a declaration of love made from the deepest part of his soul, to let her know that no matter what separates them, they will come back together again, regardless.
it's like weeping at the sheer beauty of something... put into song. this really makes me cry...
I hope to feel this way one day.
underrated
the simplicity of this song, adds to its beauty, complexity and authenticity.
It's such a great and clear song..makes all that lyrical jumble seem unimportant.
this song is just so beautiful, i love it!!! It is just one of those songs you turn up really loud, cause it just takes over, i feel this song, the love....but i guess most of John Lennon's songs are like that. but this is one of my favorite, i wish it was longer than i wouldnt have to play it three or four times to be satisfied.
One of the most beautiful songs ever written. It's strange how love can open your eyes to things that were there all along, but you were never really motivated to take it all in.
