this song is really great. i love how it is sung with the mood changes. awesome.
bno opened with this diddy when i saw them. it was awesome, this song is my favorite. its very slow and drags on...the screaming is great...it all reminds me of someone slowly suffering or dying. which makes sence, bno is all about death. it also speeds up at some points, best line: "i know that i'm responsible for this and i'll miss you" just the way its sung with the music makes it the best
i love the title of this song. it just reminds me of someone talking down to him and him just taking all of it even though it hurts.

It's a break-up song. And how love can feel like death. The guy knows it's his fault it didn't work out, and he's pleading and telling the girl why he wasn't write for her. I love the tempo of this song. Perfection. One of my Favourite BNO songs.
Its a good song I like how BNO reuses the opening line in there new album its realy cool

My guess is that this may have been the nightmare that inspired the main character to kill his wife (not girlfriend) in Train Wreck.
Or, BNO didn't entirely know what they wanted out of their next album and changed the death to being asphyxiated via a telephone cord vs. noose.
