great song, big attitude...GO CRAIG!

I LOVE THIS SONG. It is really different fromt he other songs on tihis cd. I like it a lot because of the harsh lyrics. I find myself writign F.T.W. on a lot of things!

i like this song, it a good ending to their cd; it gives a good send off. its a good song to listen to when your in a bad mood, well for me anyway.

Craig and Patrick in an interview:

Craig: “ This one is an environmental song but that’s not really obvious when you hear it at first. It’s the sound of the past to the present to the future. Hopefully, everything is about the future.” Patrick: “ Heavy.”

I just saw these guys live at splendour in the grass and this song goes down a treat. Especially as the finale followed by craig smashing everything in site. :D

And I used to think that FTW was 'For The Win'.

i think Craig is saying don't get big headed, everyone needs to just chill. say fuck the world and just do something that's meaningful. ok here's my interpretation:

"Walk the fields and we stare at the ocean Roll the wheel but forget the notion Life was better before was smaller The minds computer will fuck the world up"

these lines are pretty abstract but they sound great. seems like he's reflecting on the world we live in and thinking our minds computer or our way of thought is fucked up and is gonna cost us.

"Feels like a dream I know you want it Don't feel supreme Nobody got it"

we can choose to think the world revolves around us but really we're all human.

"World c'mon fuck the world c'mon fuck the world c'mon fuck the world"

and the hook... fuck the world be true to yourself. I like the -Craig and Patrick interview above, makes sense. i think Craig wrote this song to make people think, its gets your imagination going. FTW listen to the vines!!
