I cannot remember my own sanity Gods love ain't forever He'll set us free Thought I had to tell you we came from the breeze but I dont care forever I dont need a thing I cannot remember
Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
maybe this pre-dates back to when the lead singer was going through that patch when he though he couldn't rememebr any of his songs. the lyrics are awesome, but they don't rally make sense without unless you know the rythem or the melody. oh well.
Craig:
“ This one’s like poetry. It’s a really slow song and it’s a real head trip. We played this one a lot when were touring last year, and we kept building it up in soundchecks. We kept working on it together. I think that working on this song was really when we all started to play together really well. We did one demo of this before the album and by the time we went into the studio it sounded really good. It’s got a cool organic vibe to it in the way we play it, but then the vocal harmonies are a bit more space age.”
Patrick:
“ Moog in chorus makes me ask ‘Spaceman, can you stay a while?’ Great
words, great drum pattern, one of my favourites.”
I don't exactly know what this is about. I guess it's like he can't remember anything because, I don't know, maybe it's like he's depressed or something. The part about God's love ain't forever, I think it's about that you seem to be protected by God but then you realize that he's set you free to figure things out on your own or something. I wouldn't exactly know anything about God, I don't believe in him. But anyways, I guess he's saying that he doesn't care and that it doesn't matter what he has, he doesn't really need anything. God this is bad. But i gave it my best shot.
This song means that someone has entirely lost their memory, thus he enters a period of finding bliss in ignorance beacuse he doesnt remember a thing, neither religion nor teachings can stop him, his mind enters a time of pureness, like a baby i guess, but not so simple.
i think its about that point in your life when you become aware of yourself, thus 'god has set you free.' you are no longer under gods wing, you are open minded and aware, you must watch after yourself from now on. everything else in the song is just normal anxieties and frustrations from life. i cant remember my own sanity means just that. we came from the breeze, sortof like a dust in the wind kinda thing.
I don't know how true this would be, but going off the assumption that Craig is sort of a lethargic/listless guy, I think it could be about not needing the past, and just living carefree/day to day. I dunno, mostly just trying to give another point of view to consider.

This song is amazing. But the lyrics are a bit odd, the make some sense though.
