look, there should be very little discussion about this song, which i am glad to see. i think that once a person reads the lyrics, sees the title, they can put two and two together. personally, i think its about how if you get sick of the fakery (for lack of a better word) of the music industry, and are bored by the monotony, pirating music is a good alternative to get the music youre not "allowed" to listen to.

the song is really about the repitition of music and its mesmorizing spell it has on our minds... he is also trying ot bring this to our attention by saying "Tune in and they will waste your time Is anybody bored yet?.... It's the same sounds And the same songs"

you're all correct, the guitar is good, it involves pirating music, and the effects of pirating on music

you see we've pirated so much music, that we have lost a sense of appreciation for music ("Will someone tell my why we even listen? Airwaves are filled with repeition What ever happened to selection?")

you used to have to "select" music carefully, listen to that album, because it cost money. but in this manner we learned to appreciate the music. Now, we simply listen, discard and download more.. after all, a big music library means you're superior to others, doesn't it?

music has changed from an appreciation, a hobby, to some kind of indicator, we try to impress people with our knowledge of all different types of music and all differetn bands ("Follow new trends Be sure you get it right") In reality we are losing sight of what music is really about. We search for a quantity of understanding of music, rather than a quality of understanding
