I think this is a great cover. Avril's voice does the song justice.
First of all..Cpt-Sensible Avril isnt giving punk a bad name, I dont think she truly sees herself as punk-ric..the clash is punk, people who see Avril as punk are juvenile..
But I love her, and I think she gives the song justice, nad thats coming from a person who hates covers.
wow. some people are so closed minded. yeah her voice isnt good live but neither are a lot of singers, and i think that her voice DOES sound great in this song. it is beautiful. the original version is a classic and is amazing too. its so stupid to say that avril should be wiped off of the earth lmao. no one forces you to listen to it so who cares if somebody else does?? and if she wants to sport pink skulls with bows then let her. geez. i think its kinda strange how she went from singing about originality and not changing to fit in, then suddenly she is "the mother fucking princess" haha, but it doesnt bother me enough to complaiiin. w/e
