I just got back from watching these guys play in Wolverhampton, trust me, they cannot play a bad gig.

Anyway, Matt said "This song is about going out and having fun, in as many weird ways as possible"

very uplifting song, but i prefer the more hardcoe side of FFAF. still a cool song.

i think this song is about a relationship that went wrong somehow...it seems to me that the girl in question has broken this guys heart more than once, and he's wondering if there is a "differance in anything she's said and done" because she's acting like she wants him but saying that it wont work...so the guy is now fed up with her and says "im leaving, im leaving..do me a favor and dont even think of me now"...he's also trying to tell her that they could have had a great life together and that "just when you thought it was over, it had only just begun"...he's to make himself see that his life will be better without her, but its hard to see because he still loves her and wishes it was "how they'd planned"..that everything would work out...he's trying to make himself hate her, but he cant bc he loves her so much...well, thats just my take on this song...it really speaks to me bc im kinda going through this now and it sucks..but um yea, FFAF rocks my socks, ciao

i like the softer side of FFAF and also the more hardcore side. afipunk good interpretation...thats what i got out of this song also.

great song and a lot less intensity than others but that doesn't take anything away! its one of their easier songs to interpret...it seems like his gf has fucked round with him a couple of times ("is there a difference in anything you've said and done?") and now she's telling him its over...the chorus is him more or less saying "i'm leaving now-don't think of me cos you've just ruined something good". in the second verse he's denying this is hurting him ("i'm not going to let this tear me apart"). "she's not my only reason" is him saying "i didn't just leave cos of what she did" but this is a denial and cover-up for what he really feels for her...

wow this song is gud.i think its about a guy who really likes this girl but he's gettting pissed wit hte situation he in so he had enuff nd has decided to leave. he's bin fucked up to much by it nd is gone

afipunk.. i think your interpretation is pretty damn good. ill add my own little bits... for me it seems that the guy has hooked up with this girl (possibly a friend) who he really likes, for her afterwards to say that a relationship will never work. in the chorus when it say "when you thought it was over it had only just begun" mite be referring to the girl thinking that th guy was over it when really he had only really just started liking her and was in for the long run. i dunno... just some thoughts. this is a quality song just like the rest of them... sums up that kind of situation to a T. can;t wait to seem funeral live... gonna be fucking amazing. happy listening, lewi xox
