Can't pretend that you're nothing special
You've got to look at all of your options
You can't decide what to go for
When it's all about trust
You see yourself on the tv
You read your magazine
You can't explain how it's come to be this
Stop and think...
When it's all about trust

This coverage, your centre spread
Your neon light daydream will
Shatter and break
And if you think I'm thinking of
You're value here
You're the one who's losing control

This eventual stop, this break in the mould
I scream down this hotline
Just to feel something

This situation isn't getting any better
I see that look in your eyes (the look in your eyes)
You want to see a pretty face?
There isn't anything wrong with giving up
And for what it's worth
I still hate you

General Commenti wouldn't go as far as saying that but i guess that's your opinion. armor for sleep is one of the best bands i've heard in a while.

General CommentI love this song, I can't believe how badly the Iron Maiden crowd reacted to these guys on the Dance of death tour, oh well, they are a bunch of sad old rocker twats who wouldn't recognise new talent if it kicked them in the crotch.

    Anyway onto the song...

I think Matt is talking about people who tread on other people in order to get famous, but how he doesnt really care, cause people like that don't last long, because they have no friends to turn to because they have screwed them all over.

General CommentIt seems to be about the way that the whole concept of 'fame' is something that is so over-rated and ugly and badly-spoken about that those who are good at what they do and are therefore famous for it feel that they can't get away from the fact that no matter how good they are, they're still famous. Which is something that MTV has turned into drunken fights and sleeping with the world.

General CommentI think it's about fame and how it starts off great, but soon turns you into someone you never wanted to be, and then you start falling apart
