one of my favorite songs of mfzb. not sure exaclty what it means but has one of the greatest lines ever

if you can say this to someone i feel you must really like them. and i think this song is just about liking someone and getting them to like you
i love this song. my personal favorite of zebrahead. i cannot believe more people haven't commented! i believe it is about someone who likes some one a lot. note the "i don't mind wasting time with you". the "hold on just a little longer" sort of makes it seem like that the other person wants to end it, but the other feels like it shouldn't be over just yet. well, there are my two cents.
i think this song means that a boyfriend who loves spending time with his girlfriend when it said "I don't mind wasting time with you". and he cares about her a lot! and sometimes they have their little or big fights, but he thinks they can can get through them with eachother. i got that from "Violins, silence, anger violence Says to herself "I'm going out of my mind"" also that he thinks he might be driving her away and he doesnt want that, so he wants a little more time to make things right between them and fix things, also that he will change for her, because he doesnt want to lose her. and he remembers the times when she said "You said nothing in this world could ever Make you feel better than I do (HEY HEY) You said no one in this world could ever" and he thinks if he ever lost her that he might concider suicide. and he doesnt want that to happen so hes gunna try and change for her bc he doesnt want to lose her, and she makes him feel great.
