See You When I Get There Lyrics
I’m looking up
At the moving clouds
I’ve been hit so hard
This time
I just might stay down
If you were me
I would come back
To get you
If this is love
Then I don’t remember
You won’t find anyone
To treat you better
We’ve already been through
Hell and high waters
I ain’t sorry baby
Don’t think that
We ain’t done anything
That I’d take back
Go on pretend
That you ain’t changed
And don’t worry about me baby
I’ll see you when I get there
I’m looking up
At the moving clouds
I’ve been down so long
But I still think you
Might come around
So I’m making plans
For when you feel better
You just might want
Someone more familiar
You won’t find anyone
Else to take you back
Now sometimes you’re an angel
But you’re usually
A pain in the ass
I ain’t sorry baby
Don’t think that
We ain’t done anything
That I’d take back
Go on pretend
That you ain’t changed
And don’t worry about me baby
I’ll see you when I get there
I need your love
Much more than I want it
You left me here
With another bad habit
Now you found paradise
And crawled to the shorelines
I saw a white flash
And then I saw the lids of my eyes
I ain’t sorry baby
Don’t think that
We ain’t done anything
That I’d take back
Go on pretend
That you ain’t changed
And don’t worry about me baby
I’ll see you when I get there
(Worry about me baby)
See you when I get there
At the moving clouds
I’ve been hit so hard
This time
I just might stay down
I would come back
To get you
If this is love

I love the lyrics of this song. I feel like I'm in a situation similar to this right now.
I think that this probably describes my relationship. :-/
This is the wallflowers best song ever. So upbeat and clever. I love it!
LOVE this song, it describes me and my bf relationship,is like he's telling what he thinks about me in few parts of the lyrics cuz sometimes I'm an angel, but I'm usually a pain in the ass, I can't get bored of this song I hear it over and over again
hmmm the meaning though of the song....no one decided to say it and just put random comments so here I go:
It sounds to me like there's been a screw up in a relationship but this one hurt so much that he's not bothering to care again about future ones. He's simply waiting on her to turn around pretty much...
However, near the end though the lines "I saw a white flash And then I saw the lids of my eyes" it seems like either one of two things happened at that point: Either A) so much time passed the persona simply died or B) the persona took his life
I can't really figure out which one it is though, maybe someone else's opinion would help. = )
