Sweat Loaf Lyrics
"Daddy?"
"Yes, son?"
"What does regret mean?"
"Well, son, a funny thing about regret is that better to regret something you have done, than to regret something you haven't done. And by the way, if you see your mom this weekend, be sure to tell her SATAN, SATAN, SATAN!!!"

The Name of the song is SWEAT Loaf, not sweet. Exact, try living up to your name and being a little more accurate with your postings.
The guitar riff is a warped version of the riff from "Sweet Leaf" by Black Sabbath.
During the song, he's singing "Rape a desire" over and over again.
Yes, it's sweatloaf, a play on "Sweetleaf" by that other band.
Onstage once, I heard him yell "SAJACK SAJACK SAJACK" in stead of satan. It was great.
This is such a biazazare song good though!
During the song, he's singing "Rape a desire" over and over again.
Well if what Jofaguht says is right then the song would be about the son asking his dad what regret is.
The son was actually a mistake it was a regret his dad had hence the tell your mom SATAN, SATAN, SATAN and the rape a desire.
The rest of the song after the dialog, is Gibby Hanes on another clairvoyant binge, rhapsodomancing from the future and trans-nationally, any number of sigur rós songs.
it is sweat loaf not sweet loaf
after he sings 'rape, a desire' he says something in the next verse (?) that i can never quite make out.
but it's a fucking brilliant song any way you look at it.
