I have a theory this song is about chad feeling responsible for a girl and feels he has to del with the consquenses of her actions "leave it up to me and I will be the one here to see that you stand still"

I love this song, though I'm not sure what it means really, perhaps that he used by a girl who doesn't realize it yet but she's actually the one everyone is laughing at, not him. Though some of these lyrics are wrong, here's the right ones, I think.

this stuff is the real Nickelback. Not the kind of perverted, distorted guitar solos crap they swim in now. it's pretty obvious what this song's about... he's leaving his girlfriend, who lies to him, and shows little care about their relationship. This song is not a single, patrick.oconnor37, so my guess is that they wrote it as a nonalbum song, but either The Punisher soundtrack got a hold of it, and therefore it actually became open to the public, or Nickelback wrote it especially for the movie. Anyhow, it's a great song.
