Superhero Of The Computer Rage Lyrics
I am the past
Future
I've been chosen
You think it's over
But I'm ready to go
I am what you fear
I've been chosen
The world as you know it just died
It's the end of all time
I am a surprise
Even to myself I'm a genious
Superhero of the computer rage
In plastic I'll bury
I am what you fear
I've been chosen
The world as you know it just died
It's the end of all time
Everything you say is denied
I'll be the devil on this ride
Dark clouds in your heaven
Your end has only begun
You can scream but the re's no rescue
I promise I'll make you sure you die in time
I am the maggot
In your infected life
No matter how hard you try
I'll leave without a scar
I am a legend
In your infotainment life
It's when I say "it's over"
It's you who's been chosen
Future
I've been chosen
You think it's over
But I'm ready to go
I am what you fear
I've been chosen
The world as you know it just died
It's the end of all time
Even to myself I'm a genious
Superhero of the computer rage
In plastic I'll bury
I am what you fear
I've been chosen
The world as you know it just died
It's the end of all time
I'll be the devil on this ride
Your end has only begun
You can scream but the re's no rescue
I promise I'll make you sure you die in time
In your infected life
No matter how hard you try
I'll leave without a scar
I am a legend
In your infotainment life
It's when I say "it's over"
It's you who's been chosen

im pretty sure its Computer Age not Rage...still amazing song and album
no dude, it's Rage. look on the back of the cd case.
amazing song and album? PAH!
yah, amazing song!
youre also missing some lyrics in the song
hum ... whats the meaning of -- super hero of the computer rage?
Sounds like a hacker addressing a computer-addicted consumerist society.
I always figured that this song was about the "internet backlash" from some fans after the release of "Reroute to Remain". Typical metal "fan" bullshit about it being a "sellout" and so on, although there were undeniably one or two production issues.
I took the title and the lyrics to be a reference to the way some people get online and criticize people to make themselves feel powerful, etc.
This song reminds of "Sad But True" "2x4" and "Battery" by metallica. Not musically, but in the meaning of the lyrics. Its basically the "Me"-character boasting of his great skills. In Flames often write about alternate worlds, usually in a sci-fi setting, and this song is no exception. In this alternate world, the Superhero of the Computer Rage is a powerful divine being who uses his powers to seemingly evil purposes, but he's still called a hero. Perhaps he is acting out what the government wants him to do, as opposed to what the people want. Anyway, the Superhero is a negative creature who controls others.
amazing, genuinely amazing...and these lyrics leave so much space for interpretation
