this song seems like it is about a relationship with someone that is heading for worse than for better. "it took so long to see the world your mind creates, it pushes me under" He is now realizing that the relationship sucks and he is like, fuck you, i dont want to even talk to you. "like you better dead"

i think its funny how new in flames always puts lyrics in the book that they dont say at all in their songs like the (need to be motivated) in this song. but actually u never really know if they say it or not, cuz u always hear anders doin his gay uhhhhhahhhh moan moan in the background pretending to know how to sing. so he could be saying those lyrics and u dont even know it lol.

Even though I like this song, it sounds tragically much like a nu-metal teen-ager wrote it..

Yeah, it's one of the lyrically weakest songs off STYE, but it's still cool. ;)

Maybe he does it because the words mean something to him, other than chunking a bunch of words together and screaming them into a song. There's probably a main theme or message that he's trying to get across.

i actually think he is talking about himself in this song, like a side of himself that he doesnt like.

i reckon this song is about someone who the author was close to but the fact that they are so cold and hurt him so much makes him wish that they didn't exist at all, he would rather like to teach them a lesson and have them understand what they are doing to him and themself. Ironically, despite thinking that they are fine and the better one in the situation, the author points out that they are the deficient one (vision may be in colour - look all pale) Although he is attached to this person in a way, he knows that he must break away or he will waste away too, although he knows that the concept of facing a tomorrow without them is still going to be tough. It would have been easier had they never met

BLAME-JCJ i think you're right.. the singer loved someone.. she didnt in return.. but he kept the hope alive for too long.. (it took so long to see) and now he finally realizes he has to move on alone hoping his his trust and faith in destiny will somehow return

idiots when it says (need to be motivated) its pretty much a self note. like when hes recording it it cant be a normal scream it has to be motivated.

You know what's funny? Almost every line in this song is from a different Three Days Grace song.
