this song is totally about an attempted suicide, it follows their themes of depression/drugs and some sort of epiphany. i really actually cant tell if the speaker is talking of the ghost of the person who killer his or her self and living fancifully with it, or whether the attempt failed and now the speaker is being the support that the person who attempted suicide needed. these are so really creepily powerful lines to me taken in context: "Just forget everything that I said Washed out the wounds Walls painted red Waiting for you in the recovery room"
